WARE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was arrested in Ware on several warrants, including violating parole in Washington State.

Ware Police Chief Shawn Crevier told 22News that 44-year-old Dennzel Davis was arrested on Tuesday by members of the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) and Ware officers for three warrants.

Chief Crevier said that the state of Washington issued an arrest warrant for a parole violation. He was on parole out of Washington for assault with great bodily harm. In addition, the Ware Police Department had two arrest warrants for the following charges: • Assault and battery on family/household member • Disturbing the Peace • Speeding • Negligent operation of a motor vehicle • Failure to stop for police • Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended
