Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts acknowledged on Tuesday that he has a new leading candidate to pitch the ninth inning: rookie right-hander Roki Sasaki . Sasaki, 23, has already earned the save in both of the Dodgers' wins in their National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies . He wasn't the first choice to close out Monday's Game 2 win, however, and he entered only after Blake Treinen had failed to deliver (and Alex Vesia got two outs). Roberts stressed that he doesn't intend to use Sasaki as the Dodgers' exclusive closer heading forward.
