Hazmat incident has all southbound lanes closed on SH 146

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A hazmat spill on State Highway 146 has closed all southbound lanes near Texas Avenue, Houston TranStar reports.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that an 18-wheeler has pulled over with smoke coming out of it. It is unknown what materials the truck is carrying currently.

Fire and hazmat teams are at the scene as all southbound lanes are closed.
