Scottish activists who were detained by Israeli forces on a Gaza mission aid trip have welcomed home as "heroes" at Glasgow Airport.
A crowd of loved ones and supporters were waiting for Sid Khan and Jim Hickey on Wednesday evening after they were kept for almost a week in an Israeli jail.
They held up placards and cheered as they walked through the doors at arrivals, with supporters calling them "Flotilla heroes". Several police officers were also present at the airport.
Both were seen hugging family with Sid addressing the crowd saying, "Thank you all for coming here, that's amazing."
