CARMEL, Maine (WABI) - There’s a new space in Carmel that lets kids be kids and parents be parents.
Good Vibes Social Club opened on Hampden Road in late September.
“This is the idea, is that mom can come to caffeinate, socialize, and have a class, and so can her little,” said founder Nicole Sproul.
Sproul, who’s from Glenburn, first got the idea for a play cafe from a friend. She and her family have spent more than a year making that vision come to life.
“We tried to find some commercial real estate in the Bangor area, could not find anything. And then this came up, and the idea of a play cafe was a little small for this building. So, the idea kind of grew into a recreation center, play cafe, and social club,” Sproul explained.
The building on Hampden Road that was once a tile factor
