PLEASANT HILL, Ore. - The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to prioritize safety following a series of DUII and reckless driving arrests. Despite not having a dedicated traffic team, deputies remain committed to community safety.

According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, several arrests were made over the weekend. Deputies responded at about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 to a reported hit-and-run crash on Wheeler Road in Pleasant Hill, authorities said. LCSO officials said that Ronald Allen Sprague, 66, was arrested for DUII and multiple other charges after allegedly hitting a power pole and mailboxes on Wheeler Road, sheriff’s officials said.
