RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man was arrested Monday night after police say he attacked a store clerk in Sun Valley.
At around 10:00 p.m. on Oct. 6, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office were called to the QuikStop near 1st Avenue and Sun Valley Boulevard for reports of a fight.
When they arrived, deputies were told that the store clerk had been helping 22-year-old Angel Murillo inflate his bicycle tires when he suddenly attacked the clerk by striking him in the face with a bicycle pump.
The clerk was treated on scene.
Murillo was arrested on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
