No, it's not your imagination. Mosquitoes are out with a vengeance this fall.

Spurred on by wet weather and cool temperatures, mosquitoes are causing little bites of chaos across the Coachella Valley.

"There is a lot of mosquito activity currently," said Robert Gaona, a spokesperson for the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District. "We are seeing a lot more calls from the Palm Springs area, and we have some treatments planned for this upcoming weekend."
