As Auburn football prepares for another top 10 SEC opponent, head coach Hugh Freeze is under arguably more pressure than ever.

With his record on the Plains now 14-16, frustration from the fanbase continues to grow, especially as Freeze’s offenses look to be moving in the wrong direction.

During Wednesday’s SEC coaches teleconference, Freeze was asked if he’d heard anything about having to coach for his job against Georgia, a question Freeze downplayed.

“No, I don’t, I don’t pay attention to any of that,” Freeze said. " I’m a person of faith, and I know that my story is being written way above my pay grade, and I know we’re doing things the right way here, and we’re getting closer each game."
