Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian near the USC campus.

On Oct. 1, the suspect was speeding in a black car when they hit the victim, who was walking on a marked crosswalk near Vermont Avenue and 36th Street around 10:10 p.m.

Surveillance video released by the Los Angeles Police Department showed the victim was pushed onto the vehicle's hood before falling onto the roadway.
