Detroit — The intersection of Bagley and Third, the site of the MGM Grand Detroit Casino about 200 yards north of Detroit Public Safety Headquarters, was the most crime-ridden block in the city during the past year, according to Detroit Police Department statistics.
The area near Detroit's largest casino by market share was the site of 372 offenses recorded, with 95 of them being violent. The 10 robberies at or near the MGM Grand Casino tied with the intersection of Woodward and East Adams downtown for the most in the city from Sept. 23, 2024-Sept. 21, 2025.
