1DUNWOODY, GA – A 38-year-old Uber driver has been arrested following an early-morning shooting outside a Waffle House that left a teenage girl critically injured, according to the Dunwoody Police Department .
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, October 5, at the restaurant located at 4532 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
Investigators said the driver, identified as Meredith Grundy , had arrived to pick up five juvenile females who ordered a ride home. Grundy reportedly told the group he could only take four passengers due to limited space and seatbelt availability, sparking a heated argument.
