CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt in an overnight shooting in Plaza Midwood, Medic said.
Multiple crews responded to a reported shooting along Commonwealth Avenue near the intersection with Morningside Drive around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Medic confirmed one person was taken to Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear if any arrests have been made or if police have identified a suspect. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police haven't provided any details on the investigation at this time.
