LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting at Sunset Park in the central Las Vegas valley.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday night on Mira Vista Street inside the park, according to police.

At this time, there are no details on how many people were injured and to what extent their injuries are.

The shooting came as Clark County installed new gates at six vehicle entrances at Sunset Park to enhance safety. The gates were installed Wednesday are will be in use starting Oct. 15.
