CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were injured in three separate overnight shootings across Charlotte, Medic says.

The first shooting happened a little after 11 p.m. in the area of Central Avenue and Veterans Park. Medic said one person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being found suffering from a gunshot wound.

Around that same time, crews were dispatched to a reported shooting on Winding Branch Court , not far from Firestone Park in north Charlotte. The victim was taken to Novant's Presbyterian Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The third shooting happened a little after 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Morningside Drive in Plaza Midwood. Medic confirmed one person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injurie
