Three people were rushed to hospital on Wednesday evening after two cars collided in Granton.

Emergency services were alerted of the incident, which took place on West Granton Road, at around 6.10pm on Wednesday, October 8.

Police Scotland have since confirmed that three people were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.10pm on Wednesday, 8 October, 2025, we were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on West Granton Road, Edinburgh.

"Three people were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to be checked over. Enquiries into the crash are continuing."
