Tiverton Planning Board members were expected meet Tuesday to continue talks on the future of the Longplex Family and Sports Center at 300 Industrial Way, seven months after the Tiverton Town Council voted unanimously to sell three Longplex-related entities 72.7 acres of land in the industrial park for $1.236 million.
Owner Jim Long’s proposed expansion would include an enclosed automobile storage facility, an ice rink, an indoor and outdoor recreation facility, a hotel and restaurant, and would also see other improvements including a golf range, 12 pickleball courts, and other amenities.
