FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (CW39) — A burn ban is being considered for Fort Bend County as dry conditions continue to raise fire risks.
The Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office announced the update on October 7 on social media, when they announced a countywide burn ban was being presented to Commissioners Court for consideration.
Officials still suggested to avoid outdoor burning until further notice, asking area residents to follow updates as the local drought continues.
