HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Right now, across the Tri-Cities, we’re still basking in unseasonably warm temperatures early this evening. With the passage of a strong cold front, winds have shifted now out of the northwest. Further north, in Valentine, O’Neill, and Ainsworth, the cooler air has already settled in, bringing temperatures down to the upper 50s and 60s from earlier 70s. Winds will be robust early this evening with gusts to 35 mph at times. Winds will gradually come down from west to east as we head into the late evening and overnight.
As we head through tonight, those warm temperatures will plummet. Expect overnight lows to fall dramatically into the 30s and 50s across the region. Monday will be a much different story, with highs struggling to reach the upper 50s to mid-60s.
