Cats: The Jellicle Ball is coming to Broadway .

The musical, which reimagines Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats as a drag ballroom competition, will play Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre with previews starting March 18, 2026, ahead of an April 7 opening night. The musical moves to Broadway after an acclaimed run at New York’s Perelman Performing Arts Center last season.

Zhailon Levingston and Bill Rauch direct, with choreography by Omari Wiles and Arturo Lyons. This is the latest reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s work, following the immersive Phantom of the Opera in New York City, Jamie Lloyd’s stripped-down revival of Sunset Blvd., starring Nicole Scherzinger, and Lloyd’s concert-like take on Evita , on the West End starring Rachel Zegler.
