Jeremy Clarkson has been flooded with messages of sympathy after revealing devastating news on Thursday. The Clarkson's Farm presenter turned to Instagram to reveal that the inaugural calf born at Diddly Squat had been "destroyed" because of TB.

TB, also referred to as Bovine Tuberculosis, is a severe, notifiable bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium bovis that primarily impacts cattle, but also affects other mammals, including badgers, deer, and pigs.

Following sharing an image of the calf, Jeremy penned, "This was the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat. And this morning she was destroyed, while pregnant with twins, because she has TB. So sad."
