One " Survivor " Season 49 contestant was bitten by a venomous snake on Wednesday's episode and was evacuated from the game before another competitor was voted out during a three-person tribal council.

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the latest episode of "Survivor," titled "Lovable Lovers," the Kele tribe had to abruptly part ways with correctional officer Jake Latimer, 36, after he was "dry bitten" by a banded sea krait, a venomous snake. The snake did not inject its venom into Latimer, however, medical officials declared him unfit to return to the game.

In addition, the Kele tribe voted off global events manager Jeremiah Ing at the night's tribal council.

On the previous episode titled, "Cinema," the Kele tribe sent home 49-year-old musician Kimberly "Annie" Davis, of Portland, Oregon.
