MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A 15-year-old boy was left critically injured after being shot in the Nutbush area Wednesday night, according to the Memphis Police Department.

MPD says they responded to the area of Jackson Avenue and Reenie Avenue regarding a shooting call around 9:20 p.m.

The teen was found suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No suspect information is available at this time.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
