LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Clinton National Airport in Little Rock announced that Southwest Airlines will offer nonstop flights to Orlando starting June 6.

The seasonal route will operate on Saturdays through August, with a flight time of just over two hours.

“We’re pleased to see Southwest adding nonstop service to Orlando,” said Shane Carter, the airport’s director of public affairs. “We believe there’s strong year-round demand for this destination and appreciate the airline giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our market.”

The announcement comes after American Airlines added nonstop daily service to Phoenix earlier this week.

Additionally, Delta Air Lines added daily nonstop service to Salt Lake City last month, and Southwest plans to add twice-daily service to Nash
