Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet is spreading out on Madison Avenue.

The contemporary brand has reopened its flagship at 755 Madison Avenue, with an expanded 2,128-square-foot space and new design vision. The original store was 1,100 square feet, and the company took over space formerly occupied by Hugo Fine Arts Galerie.

At the opening party Wednesday night, Stacey Bendet explained that Andrew Rosen, an investor in Alice + Olivia , convinced her to enlarge the space so it would have a bigger frontage on Madison Avenue. “No I don’t want to,” Bendet originally told Rosen. “Stace, it’s 60-foot frontage on Madison Avenue,” Rosen replied.
