AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - A 17-year-old was indicted for alleged manslaughter in Randall County, after the death of one man as a result of an April wreck on South Bell Street.

Banner Shane Strickland was indicted in Randall County on Wednesday on one count of alleged manslaughter, according to court documents.

The charge comes after an April 3 wreck on South Bell Street. As noted in previous reports, officials said Strickland was traveling south on Bell Street while 46-year-old Jason Armstrong's car was turning north onto the road from a private drive. Armstrong was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to officials, and was ejected when his and Strickland's cars collided.

Armstrong was taken to a local hospital and later died due to his injuries.
