A variety of spring rolls have been recalled because of a labeling mixup that does not reveal an ingredient that could cause an allergic reaction.

Tai Foong USA of Seattle, Washington, has recalled Fusian Asian Veggie Spring Rolls, because they may contain shrimp, which is a known allergen, according to a company announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

People who are allergic to shrimp or shellfish could have a life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the spring rolls.

The recalled Fusian Asian Inspirations brand spring rolls were distributed to Aldi stores nationwide.

The boxes recalled are labeled Vegetable Spring Rolls, 10 ounces, UPC 4099100222258 and best-before date of May 17, 2027.
