CLEVELAND, Ohio – Tai Foong USA of Seattle is recalling some Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls because the product may contain shrimp, a known allergen that is not declared on the label, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The affected spring rolls were distributed exclusively to Aldi stores nationwide and sold under the Fusia Asian Inspirations brand.
The product is a 10-ounce (283.5 grams) retail package with UPC 4099100222258 and best-before date 05/17/2027 on the back panel of the retail box.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to shrimp or shellfish run the risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product.
Consumers who have purchased the product should throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund
