CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait (WSMV) - Soldiers who make up Fort Campbell’s “Wings of Destiny” brigade are set to return home after a nine-month deployment in the Middle East.

Fort Campbell announced that soldiers of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), are returning to Kentucky over the upcoming weeks after operations in the Middle East.

“The unit supported Operation Spartan Shield, Multinational Force and Observers in Egypt, and Operation Inherent Resolve in the U.S. Central Command area of operations,” Ft. Campbell said.
