WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A crash has closed a portion of Interstate 840 in Williamson County, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

TDOT said the crash involves a motorcycle and happened just before 8:30 p.m.

The crash initially closed I-840 in both directions at mile marker 42, but the westbound lanes have been reopened. The eastbound lanes remain closed.
