HEADLAND — A Henry County native is a finalist in the 2025 Hardee's National Biscuit Competition and headed to Franklin, Tenn., to compete for the championship title and a $10,000 grand prize.

Tammy Getchey, representing Headland Hardees, and Phase 3 Star LLC, made the final four following a rigorous round of local and regional contests, and will compete Oct. 16 at the headquarters of the parent company of Hardee's and Carl's Jr., CKE Restaurants, for the title of 2025 Biscuit Baker Champion and the cash prize.

"She puts her heart and soul into every biscuit she bakes," said Phillip Davis, District Manager, Phase 3 about the woman who has been a biscuit baker at Hardees in Headland for nearly a decade. "She's among finalists who have proven themselves the best in the country."
