NDP leader Jim Dinn criticized the Liberals and the PCs for the late release of the election platforms on the campaign trail today.

Dinn spent most of the day rallying and campaigning with two of his metro-area candidates.

Both the Liberals and the Tories released their platforms late in the day yesterday, mere hours from the leaders’ debate and one day removed from advance polling.

The leaders of both parties have defended not releasing their plans right away, arguing that bits and pieces have been coming out during campaign announcements.

Dinn says his party has been “very clear” and “transparent” in releasing their plan weeks ago, noting that it was open for scrutiny and for all to see. He calls the other parties waiting “disrespectful and more than a little entitled.”
