The preliminary hearing for the alleged killer of Eduardo Xol, a gay man and former reality TV star, was delayed until December 16. The preliminary hearing was supposed to take place Thursday, October 9, in Riverside County Superior Court in Indio, about a half hour south of Palm Springs. Richard Gonzales is charged with first-degree murder in the September 2024 killing of Xol, 58, in Palm Springs. Gonzales, 35, has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody.
