ORANGE, Ohio -- Village Council has authorized Mayor Judson Kline to negotiate contracts with two architectural firms: one to develop a preliminary design and budget for a potential new fire station and another to do the same for the proposed renovation of Village Hall.
On Wednesday (Oct. 8), council passed motions to select DS Architecture as the architect for the fire station project and Richard L. Bowen & Associates as the firm to handle the Village Hall renovation.
The selections were based on the recommendations of a review committee, composed of Kline and other village officials, that was formed to assist council with the process.
Kline said the committee recommended DS Architecture based on its local and national experience with fire station design and its specific consideration
