It may be spooky season now but airlines are already looking ahead to 2026 when beach trips, summer vacations and Disney getaways make airports busy with travelers.

Southwest Airlines announced Thursday it will be adding trips to and from Las Vegas and Orlando at the New Orleans International Airport in Kenner in its 2026 flight schedule.

The airline did not say how many additional flights would be coming to MSY, but did confirm that routes would see "varying increases."
