Warren J Goodwin of Thunder Bay and former longtime resident of Atikokan, ON passed away on October 7 th , 2025 at the age of 95. He was born in Ethelbert, MB on July 26 th , 1930 and was the youngest of Clayton and Pearl Goodwin's four boys. In August 1943 the family moved to Atikokan. It was here Warren met Lois McAuley and they were married in Atikokan on October 16 th , 1954. Warren had an interesting employment history, starting out at Steep Rock Iron mine in Atikokan where he met Lois, and then moving on to a manager position at the Firestone and Dunlop Tire retread shops in Atikokan. In 1968 he took a regional manager's position in Thunder Bay with Dunlop Tire and in 1970 acquired a teaching position in retail merchandising and then English in the adult education program at Co
