December 20, 1937 – October 8, 2025

Moses Charles Sheppard, second son of Richard N. & Olive née Kendell born in Lark Harbour, Newfoundland December 20, 1937 passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on October 8, 2025.

Moses served in both The Royal Canadian Navy and The Royal Canadian Air Force from 1955 – 1966. He was honorably discharged from the RCN in 1960 and later medically released from RCAF in 1966.

He met the love of his life Sheran via pen pal while serving and married her in 1959. They celebrated 48 and a half years together until her passing in 2007.

Moses was a life long member of the NDP and participated in a number of election campaigns. He was a member of Atikokan Town Council elected in 1978 and reelected again in 1980. He re
