If I’m not writing about Rogers laying people off , struggling with its network or raising its connection fee , I’m writing about it just straight up raising prices.
Compared to a few weeks ago , the carrier has bumped up all its mobile plans by $5 (after an auto-pay discount). The plans are as follows, but unless you can bundle them in with a bunch of other Rogers products or with a business discount, I’d steer clear. Bell has a one cheaper plan , but it only offers SD video streaming, which to me is a deal breaker.
If you live in an area that only has good Rogers coverage, I’d recommend choosing the carrier’s sub-brand, Fido, instead. You can get a 40GB plan for $50 there . The one caveat is that at Fido for some reason it costs extra to use yout mobile hotspot .
