MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis addressed questions about the role of traffic stops in crime-fighting efforts during an NAACP webinar Wednesday night as the Memphis Safe Task Force nears two weeks in effect.

Davis has previously said a large focus of the federal task force was finding people with warrants for violent crime.

When asked how federal forces performing traffic stops helps catch wanted people, Davis emphasized that traffic enforcement represents just one aspect of the broader operation.
