MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two people are facing felonies after the Memphis Safe Task Force allegedly caught them in a stolen car with loaded firearms inside.

Dawayne Infamous Childs, 18, is charged with motor vehicle theft, evading arrest, having no driver’s license, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful possession of a weapon, and reckless driving.

Sakeyia Watson, 22, is charged with motor vehicle theft, contributing to the delinquency of a child, and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

According to the arrest affidavit, Memphis police and officers with the Memphis Safe Task Force learned through “police databases” that a stolen Nissan Maxima was in the Frayser area on Tuesday, October 7.
