SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Two people have pleaded guilty to a child endangerment and death case in San Angelo from 2024.

Mark Nieves, 44, and Shytel Limuel, 31, have pleaded guilty to the first-degree felony of intentionally or knowingly causing serious bodily injuries to a child, along with endangering a child. Nieves was also charged with a third-degree felony of causing bodily injuries to a child.

The incident dates back to Jan. 2024, when law enforcement and the fire department responded to a call about an unconscious four-year-old child. When the child was transported to Shannon Medical Center, they eventually succumbed to their injuries.
