WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — As Hispanic Heritage Month continues, one Wichita doctor’s story is shining a light on the power of perseverance, education and family legacy.
Dr. Carolina Soria’s journey began with her father’s dream for a better life. In the 1950s, he left Veracruz, Mexico, to work on the railroads of Kansas, determined to give his children access to education and opportunity.
