LAKEVILLE — Stacked with 13 seniors, the Apponequet girls soccer team features an experienced, talented and veteran group that has its sights set on a deep playoff run in their final year together.

“We’ve all been playing since we were so little and now that this is our last season, we all want to do good and we want to go far so it makes it more special,” said Apponequet senior Cece Levrault.

Opposing teams have had trouble containing Apponequet’s offense this year.

Thursday was no different.

Three different players scored as the Lakers beat Old Rochester 4-1 in South Coast Conference action for their ninth win of the season.
