LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A fire that took place over the summer, impacting several businesses near UNLV, was classified as "accidental," according to the Clark County Fire Department.

The fire occurred on July 25 at a shopping plaza in the 4600 block of South Maryland Parkway near Tropicana Avenue.

The plaza known as the University Gardens housed several businesses, including a post office, which was destroyed in the fire.
