RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man has been charged with murder after another man died following an apparent fight in Sun Valley.
On April 9, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of Short Avenue in Sun Valley for a reported medical emergency
The victim, 53-year-old Thomas Donoho was taken to a hospital and later died. An initial investigation found Donoho had injuries consistent with a physical altercation.
Police say their investigation found that 44-year-old Curtis Lee Williams was the man who battered Donoho prior to his death. An autopsy ruled Donoho’s death a homicide.
Williams was arrested in Sacramento County on Thursday, and is awaiting extradition to Nevada, where he will face charges of murder in the second degree with the use of a deadly weapon.
