Webb City's Violet Haut tied for third place on Thursday at the Class 3 District 3 girls golf tournament to qualify for the Class 3 state tournament.

She was one of two players from Webb City to qualify and one of seven Joplin-area golfers to make the field for state. The tournament is set for Monday and Tuesday, October 20 and 21, at Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin. ×
