PADUCAH – A Murray resident was among the honorees recognized recently when the Four Rivers Society for Human Resource Management (FRSHRM) announced the recipients of its 2025 Awards of Excellence during the annual HR Celebration.

The awards ceremony, held Sept. 24 in Paducah, recognized outstanding professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and service in the human resources field. They included:

• Professional of the Year Award: Mary Anne Medlock, business services liaison for the West Kentucky Workforce Board. A Murray resident, Medlock was recognized for her dedication to strengthening employer engagement and workforce solutions across the region.

• Rookie of the Year Award: Bo Vanderburg, talent acquisition and development manager for Graceland Portable Build
