Columbia River remains the top team in volleyball in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.

The three-time defending state champion Rapids had to rally to beat Ridgefield 3-1. The set scores were 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-16.

The win completed a head-to-head sweep by the Rapids over the Spudders.

Sophia Gourley led River with 16 kills and five aces. Avery Seley registered 33 assists with four aces, and Addie Cameron added 12 kills and four digs for River.

Paige Hanes paced the Spudders with 10 kills and 10 digs, and Elle Burke had 11 kills and four digs.
