Adrian College is expanding opportunities for high schoolers to earn college credits before graduation.

The college has signed agreements with the Michigan Department of Education, the Southwest Washtenaw Consortium and Madison High School in Adrian, according to a community announcement.

The agreements allow students in state-approved Career and Technical Education Health Science Programs and Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science Pathways to earn early college credit.

Tina Claiborne, a professor at Adrian College, said the agreements give students a significant advantage in making a streamlined transition into the college’s allied and pre-health programs.
