The shocking moment a Scots taxi had a terrifying near miss with a lorry during a dangerous overtake has been caught on camera. ‌

Dashcam footage taken from a farming vehicle captured the hair-raising incident on Kippen Road in Stirlingshire on October 1. ‌

In the clip, the car filming is driving along the country road. A lorry can be seen driving towards the camera on the opposite side. ‌

A silver Volvo with a Stirling taxi badge suddenly appears speeding on the wrong side of the road while overtaking.

There are mere seconds between the taxi squeezing back onto the correct side and narrowly avoiding a head on collision. ‌

The taxi then speeds off leaving all involved shaken.
